The mission of the Master of Accountancy program is to prepare students for careers with increasing professional and managerial responsibility in public accounting, government, and industry, as well as prepare students for admission to accounting Ph.D. programs. To achieve this, the program will focus on the development of specialized functional accounting knowledge; effective research and communication skills; using technology appropriate for the accounting profession; objectivity, integrity, and ethical behavior; and effective critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.

To become licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Alabama and most other jurisdictions, students must complete additional educational requirements beyond the bachelor’s degree. Students can satisfy these requirements through our Master of Accountancy program.

This Troy University master-level program offers you courses led by a teaching staff made up of some of the most brilliant, scientific minds in the field of biomedical sciences. TROY's SLI program is a 31- to 33-hour program—offered in thesis and non-thesis track options—that focuses on preparing domestic and international students for future careers in second language teaching.
