Music thrives as a performance and cultural practice in the U.S. and abroad. The Bachelor of Arts in Music is a dynamic program for the study of music within a liberal arts curriculum. The B.A. program is distinctive in its treatment of music as a worldwide performance and cultural phenomenon, offering students the opportunity to define their degree track with courses and performance ensembles that meet and enhance their interests in music. The program is flexible, allowing students to focus on performance or musicology.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.

Focuses on the application of advanced computer and geographical information systems (GIS) in the collection and analysis of crime data.
Crime Victim Services

Investigative Services
An interdisciplinary program geared toward enhancing the scientific knowledge of those students seeking investigative positions in various enforcement agencies, the curriculum emphasizes law enforcement, evidence, and forensic science.
Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention
Prepares service providers with knowledge of law and of social and behavioral sciences, as well as communication skills with children, adolescents, and people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Police Science
The curriculum focuses on the roles, activities, and behaviors of people with regard to maintaining law and order, providing needed services, protecting life and property, and planning and research.

Whether your goal is to become an entrepreneur or to pursue a career in a Fortune 500 company, a University of New Haven degree in business management will help you discover your niche and prepare you to set your sights on the top of the corporate ladder.
You’ll learn what it takes to manage staff, develop workable action plans, accomplish major goals, and thrive in the global business environment. You will be immersed in a leadership-building curriculum that includes courses in accounting, finance, marketing, economics, quantitative analysis, business law, and data management.
Students earning a B.S. degree in Business Management are required to complete 121 credits, including the university core curriculum (41 credits) and the business program core (30 credits). The community-clinical services concentration prepares students for careers in clinical, mental health, and related human-service settings. Work at the individual level is stressed, as are consultation, social problem analysis, and prevention techniques and strategies

The program consists of 36 credits, 18 of which compose the core curriculum completed by all students, and 9 of which constitute one of three areas of concentration. The remaining 9 credits are electives.

The Master of Public Administration is the most widely accepted and valued professional degree in the field of Public Service. Our MPA program provides students with the core skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful professional in Public Service, as well as offering students an opportunity to complete a concentration in one of five timely areas: 1) Municipal Management, 2) Public Financial Management, 3) Public Safety, 4) Nonprofit Management, and 5) Fire and Emergency Medical Services. Marine Affairs is an interdisciplinary field that studies the relationships between humans and the marine environment with the goal of achieving sustainability of marine resources, as well as social and environmental justice.
Marine Affairs professionals work to develop better policies and management strategies to address the many complex issues related to human uses of the world’s coasts and oceans. The objective of the Master of Science in Accounting program is to provide an in-depth framework for corporate, forensic, AI/analytics, and taxation accounting inquiry, devised in structure and content from the entire scope and process of accounting-information-based economic decision-making.
