Program Outcomes
If you complete this program, you will graduate with a Bachelor in Business with a major in supply chain management. In this program, you will get a broad education in core business skills such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, and operations management along with emphasizing effective management of production and service operations. You will study concepts and strategies that help businesses and organization stay competitive in the world economy, including management tools and analytic techniques, such as forecasting, purchasing, and logistics, inventory management, production scheduling, and quality manufacturing practices.

Our program covers three primary areas: basic problem solving and data analysis tools, major concepts and strategies for managing people, materials, and production resources, and the integration of the supply function into overall business or organizational strategy. This program will prepare you to work in supply chain management jobs and careers or to continue your education with a graduate or doctoral degree.

The Organizational Leadership major and minor are multidisciplinary, focused on the people side of organizations and managing others. An education in organizational leadership can provide you with a broad perspective to prepare for complex social, cultural, and professional issues that are sure to be encountered.

If you want to see the big picture and manage a diverse range of people and business areas, pursue a master’s degree in leadership development at Wright State. We will work with your schedule, as we are transitioning to 100 percent remote course delivery. You can take two courses per semester and finish your degree in five semesters. You take courses in a cohort model that includes program-related experiences that integrate theory and practice.  

Your coursework will address the principles of individual-based leader development, focusing on processes that build the capacities of groups in organizations. You will be capable of applying knowledge, critical analysis, improvement strategies and research to common challenges encountered in business, community, educational and non-profit organizations.

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology has a distinguished history for providing the best in graduate and medical education. Our faculty is engaged in cutting-edge research spanning many areas such as dermatology, metabolism, immunology, cell biology, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. Our curriculum is firmly rooted in the areas of leadership, research techniques, and translational medicine.

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences offers two master’s degree programs-the Master of Science and Master of Science in Teaching (Earth Science). The Master of Science program prepares students for careers as professional earth scientists in industry, government, or education, or for continued graduate study. Current research focus areas of the department include Aquatic Biogeochemistry, Hydrogeology, Geophysics, Geospatial Analysis and Remote Sensing, Complex Earth Processes, Paleoecology and Sedimentary Environments, and Earth Science Education. The department is widely recognized for its applied and multidisciplinary programs and maintains a strong emphasis on practical field applications.

The Council on Social Work Education has accredited this program since 1974, assuring you that the curriculum and faculty meet established national standards. Qualified graduates of the bachelor's program are eligible for examinations to achieve advanced standing in master's degree programs. Those who qualify for dual-credit consideration could complete their master's degree in as little as one academic year.

Help design your own degree program—one broad in scope, narrow in concentration, and flexible enough to draw courses from all of the departments and programs in the College of Liberal Arts. The liberal studies degree is ideal if your interests encompass more than one liberal arts field and you desire greater flexibility in your program.
