Whether you want to continue professionally in fields such as law or business, enter into more traditional areas like Jewish education or Jewish communal service, or pursue the degree out of intellectual curiosity and personal interest, the program is for those who want to be challenged and inspired.

Physics explores the natural world and applies the findings to improve human life. Advances in physics lead to new technologies. Students in physics at Yeshiva College acquire mathematical skills and ways of thinking that support success in many careers. Many of our physics graduates have gone on to earn graduate degrees in physics and engineering. Many others have succeeded in jobs such as law, medicine, engineering, business and finance. The Department of Physics has state-of-the-art laboratory equipment for introductory and advanced experiments in mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, lasers, electronics, quantum and nuclear physics. A weekly colloquium brings physicists from all over the world to present and discuss their research.

In the Katz School's M.S. in Data Analytics and Visualization, you’ll learn to transform raw data into insightful output and master the underlying science of predictive and exploratory analyses, as well as techniques for creating visualizations and data narratives.

In the M.A. degree in mathematics program, based in New York City, students gain a solid foundation in advanced mathematics and develop skills in mathematical modeling, numerical applications and data analysis in order to succeed in a variety of professions. Yeshiva University’s M.S. in quantitative economics (MQE), based in New York City, blends macroeconomics and microeconomics, econometrics, probability/statistics, computation, behavioral economics and data science to inform monetary and fiscal policy, labor markets, public finance, market design, and more. The program provides a broader scope than most master’s degrees in applied economics and offers a unique quantitative focus, which gives you an edge when applying for jobs in finance and investment, commercial banks, accounting, consulting, think tanks, insurance, healthcare, government and NGOs.
