For students with an undergraduate degree in accounting or another business discipline, the Master of Science in Accounting is a pathway to a successful career in accounting at a major public firm or private company. The program offers unique and flexible curriculum tailored to your individual needs. You’ll be given a challenging experience that will position you for a competitive advantage.

Earn your degree from an AACSB accredited university that will help you become a CPA licensed in most states including New York. Develop professional accounting knowledge and skills taught by world-class scholars and entrepreneurs in the industry. Courses are designed to address the current needs of the accounting profession and facilitate creative application of knowledge.

With YU’s master’s in Cybersecurity, you’ll develop the technological and managerial expertise to plan, implement, upgrade, monitor and audit cybersecurity protocols and procedures. You’ll master state-of-the-art technologies and practices, and you’ll get hands-on experience with threat mitigation, detection and defense. And you’ll be doing all of this in the heart of New York City—a global epicenter for cybersecurity.

The study of philosophy is significant to all who wish to live in a reflective and critical manner. At Yeshiva College, courses in philosophy cover the full range of historical periods. Students closely study many of the classic texts in the field, examine differing areas of philosophical inquiry, and learn rigorous methods of argument. Issues that affect our daily lives are central to philosophical inquiry and analysis: ethics, morality, the nature of knowledge and meaning, the character of the world, freedom, justice, and much more. Philosophy explores fundamental problems of human existence. Virtually every area of human activity—art, science, religion, politics—generates questions and ideas that call for philosophical reflection. As Socrates taught, the unexamined life is not worth living. Philosophy is a discipline unique in its methods and subject matter. Studying its sources and mastering its methods are invaluable in your general undergraduate education. You will learn to analyze complex ideas carefully and clearly; to eschew vague, impressionistic thinking in favor of critical, rigorous, precise reflection; to read with care, curiosity and wonder; to write in an organized and persuasive fashion.

The philosophy program at Yeshiva College attempts to strike a balance between courses that discuss the history of philosophy (that is major thinkers and movements) and courses that cover particular areas and specific problems. Interdisciplinary courses probe the interface of philosophy with other fields, including religious thought, political theory and literature. Some of these courses provide perspectives unavailable at any other college. The Colloquium seminar concentrates in depth on such issues as free will and contemporary ethical and political philosophy.

Data analytics professionals shape organizational strategies and impact the bottom line by transforming quantitative data into qualitative insights. They also contribute to the greater social good, using data to address pressing challenges in healthcare, housing, poverty, education and transportation. In the Katz School's M.S. in Data Analytics and Visualization, you’ll learn to transform raw data into insightful output and master the underlying science of predictive and exploratory analyses, as well as techniques for creating visualizations and data narratives.

Yeshiva University’s specialization in quantitative finance, based in New York City, is your opportunity to master mathematical modeling, financial econometrics and data science. What sets Yeshiva University apart from traditional quantitative finance degrees is its home in the MS in Quantitative Economics (MQE). As a student in both programs, you’ll graduate with a solid grounding in the theoretical and practical economic foundations that shape global economies and markets.

YU’s M.A. in Physics program, based in New York City, specializes in solving problems in quantum information, mechanical and electronic materials behavior, propagation of waves, biological matter, dynamics, and hardware and software development.
