The Graduate Diploma of Finance is a flexible program designed for students from non-finance backgrounds who would like to fill a gap in their knowledge in finance and investments.

The Graduate Diploma of Research Studies in Science is an 80 credit point program that provides an alternative route for entry into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program for applicants who do not possess the required qualifications for direct admission.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to apply for admission to MPhil or PhD candidature subject to fulfilment of requirements for candidature as specified in the Higher Degree Research policy and successful completion of the confirmation procedure. The grade achieved will determine entry to either a PhD or MPhil candidature.

The Program Director will be responsible for the overall supervision of the student and monitoring their progress throughout the program.

Students may choose to exit the Graduate Diploma program (after successfully completing the specified courses) with the Graduate Certificate in Research Studies in Science.

Within the Master of Human Resource Management and Employment Relations component, you will study core areas of human resource management including strategy, international and comparative human resource management, recruitment and selection, and performance and reward management. You will learn high level critical, analytical and problem solving skills and how to apply these to better manage people and organisational change across international operations.

The Master of International Business will enhance your business competencies in an international context with a focus on Asia. Your studies will enable you to critically examine the social, cultural and political dimensions of global business and how to successfully implement sustainable business practices within this dynamic trade environment. The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is awarded on the basis of independent supervised study that produces a substantial piece of research as judged by independent experts of international standing.

The program aims to bring students to a level of maturity in their understanding and practice of scholarly work within the Computing and Information Technology area, as well as providing training in the techniques, skills and theoretical background necessary for subsequent postgraduate research.
