In this program, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and values required to support and enhance the development of persons with disabilities. The program focuses on 'community', and students will provide support to persons with disabilities in schools, homes, employment, and leisure settings. The program is offered as a workplace model which means that courses are offered in a block format and practica is integrated throughout the term. It also means that regular applicants will learn alongside individuals who are currently working in the field. 

As a student, you will learn how to assist persons with disabilities to plan and achieve their personal goals and maintain their health and well-being. You will understand how to promote the development of inclusive communities and display competent, responsible, and professional behaviour and attitudes. You will also have an opportunity to experience a variety of community settings through your fieldwork, or practicum, which makes up about one quarter of the program.

Prior to starting the program, you will be invited to attend a program information session. Although optional, it is highly recommended you attend. You may also be asked to participate in an individual interview.

This post-graduate diploma program is designed to help students prepare for the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Canada designation. The program was developed from the CPA competency map that provides graduates with the opportunity to fill current and ongoing demand for accountants. Graduates can apply to use their post-graduate diploma credits for standing toward the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Students will gain a deeper understanding of accounting practices and principles; accounting management; taxation; communications; business law as it relates to finances and accounting.

This program prepares you for a career as a manufacturing technician with knowledge of manufacturing processes including conventional machining and metal forming operations, composites, and advanced manufacturing methods.

Heavy emphasis is placed on:

• Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine operation and programming
• Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
• Jig and fixture design

The program also gives you an introduction to robotics and automation, non-destructive testing, dimensional metrology, and quality inspection methods.
Upon completion of the program you will receive a Manufacturing Technician Diploma.
Prior to starting the program, you will be invited to attend a program overview information session. You will also be invited to participate in a math and reading skills diagnostic testing session that will advise you of your program readiness.

The Business Management post-graduate diploma provides a unique opportunity for professionals who want to advance their careers through the development of leadership and management knowledge and skills.  Students will apply theory to real-world situations through business simulations, case studies and group projects, using industry standard software in their courses. The combination of core and elective courses and culminating with an intensive work experience will prepare students for progression into career opportunities requiring strong leadership and management skills.

Students will develop competency in key management development skill areas with relevance to business and enterprise operations, business process improvement, sustainability of the supply chain and risk assessment and mitigation. Practical application and industry projects will further hone their business skills during the four-month Work Integrated experiential learning and produce confident graduates who have real work experience to incorporate into their resumes in search of career opportunities. 

The Architectural Technology diploma program is a comprehensive, two year, direct entry program consisting of four 16-week semesters. You will complete a four month co-operative work term between year one and year two that will provide you with related and practical experience in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction. Upon graduation from the program, career options available to you may include working with:

• Fabricators

In the Architectural Technology program, you will experience a wide-ranging curriculum of courses that emphasize the learning and practical application of current design and constructions techniques. You will take advanced courses and build on competencies gained as you move from semester to semester. Courses include subjects such as:

Co-op work experience

• 4 month co-op work experience between year one and year two

This program develops the knowledge and skills required for the safe and efficient operation of process equipment in residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial establishments. The program's main focus is on power plant operation.
Through theory and practical training, you will learn about the operation and maintenance of boilers, refrigeration systems, HVAC systems and other  process components.
Upon successful completion of the course requirements you may challenge the Province of Manitoba licensing exams at the Fourth and Third Class levels.
The program has an optional exit point at the end of the first year. If you successfully complete the first year, you receive a certificate and may write the standardized Fourth Class provincial examinations.

The Applied Accounting program is designed to provide you with the necessary skills to provide entry level accounting support. In addition to developing basic accounting and computer skills, the program includes courses in general business practices.

This program will provide you with a fundamental understanding of occupational health and safety. The program addresses the role and responsibilities of an occupational health and safety practitioner including:

Gain the knowledge and skills needed to work in therapeutic and leisure recreational programming and services for older adults. You will learn to plan, promote, deliver and evaluate effective programs for clientele in various settings, including: personal care homes, extended hospital care, adult day centres, assisted living and other community based programs.

Workplace safety, privacy and health regulations are key components of the program. You will be taught by industry-experienced instructors through integrated workplace experience and two field work placements.

Business, Accounting and Management is a comprehensive program that helps you develop skills in the core areas of business. It also provides you with up-to-date training in computers, accounting, business writing and human resource management. Your online education is supplemented by work-integrated learning, where you will gain valuable experience in a business environment that is immediately applicable in the workforce. Upon completion of the program, you will be ready for employment in a business or accounting environment.
