Logistics and Supply Chain

Graduates of the Graduate Diploma in Business (Logistics and Supply Chain) will be able to:

• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of management principles and concepts and their relationship to logistics and supply chain;

• Demonstrate an understanding of the contribution of logistics and supply chain management to organisation strategy and performance;

The NZ Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage is a one year fulltime or equivalent part-time programme, which offers you stimulating studies leading towards a qualification as a massage therapist.This program provides practical and theoretical knowledge and skills in massage and has close links with the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science. It can act as an entry point into the master’s degree for those who don’t initially meet the entry requirements, and need to demonstrate their ability to study at postgraduate level. Alternatively, those who initially enrolled on the master’s degree and are not in a position to complete it, may transfer applicable courses to the postgraduate diploma for the purposes of qualification completion.

Accounting Major
Graduating with an accounting major will enable you to undertake accountancy related work in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. With appropriate course selections you will be able to meet the provisional admission requirements Chartered Accountant (CA) with either Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or CPA Australia. The Program Coordinator can advise you on appropriate course selections.

Management Major
Typical opportunities after graduation include the areas of: human resources; operations management; or developing your own business.You will work initially in roles such as Team Leader, Functional Manager or Management Trainee, progressing to more senior positions with experience.

Marketing Major
Typical opportunities after graduation include work as a Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager or Product Manager and progressing to more senior positions with experience.

The Bachelor of Nursing (BN) is a full-time, three year program which offers you stimulating undergraduate degree level studies and provides a pathway to your professional qualification as a New Zealand registered nurse.

The BN program enables you to enter practice as a registered nurse with a sound knowledge base of nursing theory, social sciences, biological sciences, research and professional nursing practice skills. Theoretical and nursing practice experiences are balanced throughout the program.

The MIT is a Level 9 programme with a minimum of 180 or 240 credits. It enables those who have completed a Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology/Computing to achieve a postgraduate level qualification in Information Technology.

The programme can be completed in two years (240 credits) or 18 months (180 credits) full-time or up to eight years part-time, depending on your previous study and experience and specific course preferences.  It is designed to extend and deepen your knowledge and skills by building on attainment gained from undergraduate study in the computing field and to extend current information technology professionals in their career progression.
