This one year project-based program is designed for people wanting to gain craft skills and knowledge required to work in the screen industry. On this course you produce all your own work from conception to completion.

The program has been designed to give you as much “hands-on” experience with professional camera, sound and editing equipment as practical. We primarily use state-of-the-art digital cameras for recording images then edit those images on non-linear digital editing systems, as used in the professional industry.

The NZ Diploma in Sport, Recreation and Exercise is a one year full-time, or equivalent part-time, program which offers you stimulating studies and provides a pathway to a career in the wide field of recreation, sport and health. This program has close links with the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science.

The BCS program equips graduates with the skills and practices to achieve entry-level IT positions to pursue a professional career in the industry. In particular, the program is designed to:

The Master of Professional Creative Practice is a 180 credit program with full-time study for one and a half years at Level 9, consisting of four compulsory courses that provides you with the opportunity to create a body of creative work to a standard that develops, extends and refines prior professional practices, processes and knowledge. Accounting Major
Graduating with an accounting major will enable you to undertake accountancy related work in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. With appropriate course selections you will be able to meet the provisional admission requirements Chartered Accountant (CA) with either Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or CPA Australia. The Program Coordinator can advise you on appropriate course selections.

Management Major
Typical opportunities after graduation include the areas of: human resources; operations management; or developing your own business.You will work initially in roles such as Team Leader, Functional Manager or Management Trainee, progressing to more senior positions with experience.

Marketing Major

The NZ Diploma in Architectural Technology offers you the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to become a productive member of an architectural design team. You will gain the practical knowledge to undertake the whole process of producing architectural drawings, from establishing a client’s requirements right through to submission of the final designs.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to:

• Apply comprehensive industry knowledge to evaluate design principles for small, medium and large building projects in a design, building or construction related environment.
• Carry out feasibility studies for small, medium and large buildings.
• Establish the clients’ requirements, develop and communicate a concept and building design, and prepare approval documentation for a building project in accordance with a clients’ brief.
