A versatile major, the Bachelor of Business (Economics) trains you in understanding how the economy operates at both micro and macro levels. What will I learn?

You will dig into every aspect of agriculture. Massey’s expertise in environmental geochemistry includes remediation of contaminated sites, phytomining, mine sites, and land reclamation. You can learn from – and build on – our expertise in the societal impacts of earth events, such as volcanic activity. These include social, economic, and infrastructure the impacts on local communities including iwi.

The Graduate Diploma in Information Sciences (GradDipInfSc) is intended mainly for graduates in an unrelated area who are seeking to retrain or upskill in the information sciences.  Many of the students are studying via distance (online study) because they are working full time.

Massey is one of the few universities in New Zealand where your information sciences qualification covers all five disciplines of computer science, data science, information technology, information systems and software engineering.  Many graduates have found it really useful to complete the Graduate Diploma “with no endorsement”.  This means that you can select the courses you are most interested in from across the range of subjects.  You are strongly encouraged to select “no endorsement”.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Economics) will give you the equivalent of an undergraduate major in economics without completing a second bachelor’s degree. The Graduate Diploma in Arts (Economics) is a bridging tool for graduates in other subjects to get the equivalent of a major in economics. You can then apply for a postgraduate qualification in economics if you wish.
