Business Analysis applies advanced analytical methods to business problems to help managers make better decisions while technology is at the heart of all modern business.

Organisations need business graduates with expertise in business technology. Business analysts have an excellent general awareness of how a business works. They’re also able to apply advanced analytical methods to deal with specific management issues.

We also offer some of the best teaching in Human Resource Management (HRM) in both Scotland and the UK.

HRM is about the relationship between employers and employees and the ways in which people are managed in the workplace. This covers areas such as recruitment and selection, training and developing and managing conflict at work. These are an important part of the management process in all organisations.

Digital Health is one of the fastest growing economic sectors worldwide. It's creating jobs twice as fast as any other economic sector in Scotland and globally (Financial Times 2018).

Digital Health arises from the intersection of health and care services, information technology and mobile technology, and encompasses digital products and systems that can monitor, analyse, educate and improve health and care (Deloitte 2015). 

This one-year Master’s degree (also available part-time over 24 months) is the perfect conversion pathway for recent graduates looking to move into the health and care sector. It's also ideal for existing health and social care practitioners looking to up-skill in digital innovation.

This one-year MSc in Civil Engineering is suitable for graduates with a background in any discipline of civil engineering. Applicants with a degree in environmental engineering, earth science, maths, physics and mechanical engineering may also be considered.

Pursuing the BA in Journalism, Media and Communication will engage you in useful learning in a broad professional context, which includes a critical understanding of the media industry, while acquiring technical and professional skills in journalism, communication, information design and management, and using them in the dynamic media market of Glasgow and beyond. There are a number of ways you can study law at Strathclyde, one such way being the BA degree in combination with another subject. Please note that studying law within the BA degree will not qualify you for entry to the legal profession. For professional qualifications in law students follow the LLB programme.
