Choosing Psychology as your second subject, you would be undertaking a 5-star course as rated by QS. Our main focus in psychology is the study of human behaviour. Studying with us, you'll look at conditions of behaviour – how we learn, remember, co-ordinate our actions and interact with others – and the reasons for differences between individuals, such as personality or intelligence. Due to the popularity of the course, performance-related criteria are in place to manage entry into Honours (Year 4); this means the numbers admitted to Years 2 and 3 of the course are limited and dependent on performance.

Pursuing this joint degree will give you a critical understanding of the media industry. You'll acquire technical and professional skills in journalism, communication, information design and management, and you'll use them in the dynamic media market of Glasgow and beyond. As a politics student, you'll look at the work of governments and their policies and study the behaviour of those who govern - and who they are governing - both at home and abroad. You'll also gain knowledge of domestic and international institutions and issues relating to conflict and cooperation. We cover diverse and relevant issues, such as international terrorism to the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum.

Politics graduates can go on to work in a number of areas, with many pursuing academic research careers in the UK, Europe and North America.

There are a number of ways you can study law at Strathclyde, one such way being the BA degree in combination with another subject. The MSCi in Applied Chemistry & Chemical Engineering provides a clear understanding of the fundamental principles of chemistry and chemical engineering. It also gives you an appreciation of the expertise needed to transform small-scale laboratory practice into large-scale chemical operations used in the industry.

This course will ensure you're well equipped to enter the industry with the range of skills which employers are looking for.

Teaching and classes are divided equally between the Departments of Pure & Applied Chemistry and Chemical & Process Engineering. Both departments have strong industrial links and a history of teaching students specifically for the chemical industry.

The course involves extensive practical work that builds on the theory you’ll learn in lectures. You’ll also develop communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work safely.

This one-year MRes in Climate Change Adaptation aims to provide advanced study in key issues related to climate change and global warming, and how infrastructure will need to adapt.

The course links with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and in particular the different indicators associated with SDG13 on Climate Action. The course is largely research and project-based but there is also a taught element to it.

This course is designed to cater mainly for graduates with an engineering education, and employees of public and private sector companies who wish to upgrade their skills to be able to tackle the complex issues relating to the current climate crisis, circular economy goals, and the design of engineering options for mitigating environmental impacts and promoting sustainable development.

This course is aimed at engineering graduates from the UK and overseas who want to develop careers in the oil, gas, process and chemical industries. The course has a strong project-based approach and is relevant to the recruitment needs of a wide range of employers.

This course is one of the few MSc programmes to offer the module Safety Management Practices. It offers exposure to best industry practice and much required industrial training.

It meets accreditation requirements for the Institute of Chemical Engineers allowing graduates to apply for chartered engineer status.
