The MSc TESOL and Intercultural Communication degree is designed for those who intend to pursue a career in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). It's also suitable for those who currently work in this field but wish to enhance professional knowledge and skills and improve career prospects.

The course addresses questions about the learning, teaching and use of English by speakers of other languages from an intercultural communication perspective. It draws on the expertise of educationalists, linguists, and literature/culture scholars.  

Course options enable you to explore issues across these disciplines or to specialise in one area. On our MSc in Clinical Pharmacy you'll receive advanced training in the practice of pharmacy to enable you to deliver optimum pharmaceutical care and become a safer and more effective practitioner. You'll be taught predominately by pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

In Business Law, you’ll study commercial law and business legal regulations. These include company law, competition law and human rights law.

Business Law can only be studied as a second subject as a joint Honours option.

This course is a five-year Integrated Masters degree with entry into either Year 1 with Highers or Year 2 with Advanced Highers or A-levels. 

Biochemistry is the study of how cells work at molecular level. Together with the related field of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry provides important advances into understanding the molecular basis of life, and how alteration or disruption of these molecular pathways leads to disease processes.

This Masters degree is for students who want to specialise in a single biomedical science. It’s particularly relevant if you want to pursue a research career.

In Years 1 to 4, you’ll follow the same curriculum as one of the joint Honours bioscience degrees. In Year 5, you’ll focus on developing research skills and knowledge. A significant part of this course is project-based.
