The MSc Entrepreneurial Innovation & Technology is a highly practical programme that will help budding entrepreneurs conceive and crystallise their ideas about their venture start-up or new business project. 

You'll learn how to combine theoretical knowledge with a special focus on developing the applied skills required to engage successfully in entrepreneurial activity. 

The focus of this programme is the Virtual Incubator Project, during which you will work in groups to take your business idea to the next level. You will develop an innovative business opportunity and pitch to a panel of investors from the UK ecosystem. 

By the end of the programme, you'll possess both the mindset and skills to 'think and act entrepreneurially'. You'll have the opportunity to engage with a dynamic innovation ecosystem through business competitions, guest lectures, knowledge exchange projects and field visits.

The combination of mechanical, electrical, electronic, computing, measurement and control elements are now an important part of most modern engineering systems and are essential to meet new challenges in engineering innovation.
Examples include energy generation, hybrid petrol/electric vehicles, aircraft design, satellite technology, robotic systems and technology for a sustainable environment.

This course covers key areas of both electrical and mechanical engineering reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of modern engineering. There's a demand for graduates with expertise within and across the boundaries of both disciplines.

The MSc in Quantitative Finance has been developed to address the demand for market-aware graduates who can demonstrate an understanding of mathematical models used in financial tools, products and software.

The course is an innovative cross-faculty alliance between Strathclyde Business School and the Faculty of Science. Manufacturing Engineering with Management blends a more technical engineering focus (such as mechanics, manufacturing, electronics, maths, programming, engineering calculations of a products design) with production and management principles, and technology such as operational improvement and quality management.

This is integrated with manufacturing processes, design, CAD, rapid prototyping and digital prototyping technologies, software and practical skills to turn the design and production process into reality which is fundamental to global market success. Considerations include environmental impact, reducing waste and increasing outputs to meet targets.
