You will develop in depth understanding of the key role of a circular fashion manager; from professional competencies and essential tools needed for managing responsibility for fashion and luxury brands to personal attributes and the commercial implications for transparency and traceability in the supply chain. The role of a fashion visual merchandiser combines research into fashion trends with architecture and product design practice. This course will teach you how to create fashion retail experiences that balance brand values and identity with retail space and windows of an assigned store/showroom. You will learn how to shape and reshape a physical and/or online space to effectively convey the brand DNA whilst promoting the commercial success of products.

This pathway puts an emphasis on digital developments and sustainable strategies for fashion visual merchandising. You will be introduced to a rigorous appraisal methodology to analyse fashion brand, retail and visual communication strategies to identify existing gaps and new opportunities. You will then develop concrete visual display projects that consider materials, colours, styling and lighting within a set budget. You will work on live-industry projects that can involve retail make-over, original in-store layouts, window concepts and displays or visual merchandising ideas.

Policing encompasses all the activities that prevent crime, detect offenders, and enhance community safety. Study with us and you will complete a course which, subject to validation, is licensed by the College of Policing (the Professional Body for policing in the UK) and which will bring to life the theory and reality of working as a police officer or in one of the careers which helps to keep people safe and secure.

The BSc (Hons) Professional Policing is a professional academic knowledge-based degree, based upon the national curriculum for the police constable role. It can only be offered by organisations that have been licensed by the College of Policing. One route to being a police officer is to gain this qualification before applying to join the police service. You would then need to successfully apply to join a police force as a probationary police constable. National and local entry requirements would need to be met, and achievement of the degree does not guarantee a successful application.
