The Data Science B.S. program at Duquesne University will prepare you to provide practical solutions to problems involving small data sets to massive amounts of data. This incorporates the entire data science pipeline, including problem formulation, data collection, high powered computing, statistical analyses, and meaningful interpretation

The Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy is your gateway to a career as a board-certified music therapist. The M.F.A. in Media Arts and Technology is a multidisciplinary program of study that blends media arts, design, creative expression and technology to enhance communication and user experiences across all industries and disciplines. It provides opportunity for aspiring storytellers, designers, filmmakers, photographers, artists and technologists to exercise creativity through technology. The M.F.A. is 42 credit hours. Students choose one of the program tracks: 1) Creative and Strategic Media, 2) Interactive Design, 3) Photography and Film.

Developing student creative competence and design thinking skills is central to our teaching philosophy. In each program track, project-oriented classes focus on creative and designed projects such as literary works, films and documentaries, photography exhibits, interactive apps and websites, digital user experiences (UX), and public relations and advertising campaigns. 

Multimedia is the skillful merging of creative thinking, design, information management, development, interactive environments, and visual communication through technology.

Students apply these concepts and processes to create robust multimedia experiences in a variety of disciplines and industries.

Students will be able to:

• Apply graphic design principles.
• Create and manipulate digital sound.

In this program you will learn how to evaluate the cyber-security needs of an organisation, how to assess and develop risk management policies in order to protect well the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of an organisation's information and assets, how to support and secure information and assets as needed to support an organisation's mission, how to research, learn, and apply new cyber-security technology in order to keep skills current and how to apply these skills in a professional manner, including documenting their work, communicating clearly and appropriately, and following appropriate ethical and professional standards of conduct.

Liberal Arts students may design a Liberal Arts major if they prefer not to choose a formal major course of study offered in a traditional discipline. A self-designed major allows for the election of a concentration in either the humanities or social sciences, or it may be built around a theme that brings together courses in both the humanities and social sciences.

Economics is a social science that employs logical reasoning to describe how people, firms and governments balance their desires with their limitations.
