BS in Health Sciences in Athletic Training degree program.  Areas of distinction within our curriculum include contemporary head, neck and spine injury evaluation and treatment, therapeutic interventions and manual therapy, and comprehensive orthopedic and non-orthopedic injury diagnosis and management.

Our Athletic Training Program prepares students to become unique healthcare providers who specialize in the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses.  After completing our program, students become eligible to sit for the national Board of Certification (BOC) exam, which upon successful completion enables them to practice as certified athletic trainers under the supervision of a physician.

In addition to their studies, our students maintain the highest standards in the areas of musicianship, pedagogy, and professionalism and work consistently with an extensive network of cooperating teachers in public school music settings (band, choir, orchestra, and general music) for field experiences that begin during the very first semester of the freshman year.

Majoring in computer science will train you to create software applications in fields ranging from gaming to Web and mobile apps and give you a strong understanding of computational theory and best practices so that you can adapt throughout your career to ever-evolving computing capabilities.

This program prepares graduates for licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) which is essential for employment in the mental health field and private practice. Students may complete the Master of Science (M.S.) in Addiction Counseling program within 2 years or also have the option of completing the program on a part-time basis. Students have the option of taking classes in the early evening and late afternoon. Graduates of the program are eligible for employment in mental health settings, working as out- and in-patient therapists, mobile therapists, substance abuse counselors, etc.

This program offers students a diverse curriculum in commonly and less commonly taught language Spanish and it is designed to lead to communicative language competency, exposure to a various literatures and cultures, a global education. In this major students are prepared for a productive role in a rapidly changing world, an educational setting where they will learn to connect knowledge and skills to their social responsibilities, build moral character through encounters with different cultures, traditions, values,...

Marketing is a specialization in business concerned with developing strategies and tactics to create value for customers. Marketing can involve many facets of business—everything from the conception and design of the product or service, to pricing, promotion and distribution.

At Duquesne, you will begin the marketing major by taking a three-course core curriculum, which includes sales fundamentals, buyer behavior and marketing research. You can then concentrate in one of three areas: Sports Marketing, Professional Selling & Marketing or Digital Marketing & Analytics.
