Multimedia is the skillful merging of creative thinking, design, information management, development, interactive environments, and visual communication through technology.

Students apply these concepts and processes to create robust multimedia experiences in a variety of disciplines and industries.

MS in Supply Chain Management is a STEM Designated Program. STEM designated programs provide interdisciplinary technical and mathematical skills, as well as the business acumen needed to help solve complex business issues and help navigate the future of business.

Entegrated Marketing Communication (IMC) is a strategic communication discipline that draws together advertising, public relations, and marketing. Students can develop competencies in advertising, public relations, event planning, emerging communication technologies, community relations, visual communication, and branding. Integrated Marketing Communication majors pursue careers in advertising and public relations agencies, consulting firms, and positions requiring strategic communication planning and strategy.

Biomedical engineering (BME), like any branch of engineering, uses scientific and mathematical principles to solve relevant problems facing the world. BME is focused on improving human health and encompasses many distinct areas such as:

• Biomedical optics
• Biomaterials
• Orthopedic biomechanics
• Biophysical interactions
• Drug delivery
• Biosensor development

Additionally, the Department offers a selection of courses for non-science majors carefully designed to meet University Core science requirements, in a range of topics from the traditional to the fun-filled and even the exotic.

The Department pursues a vigorous research program in experimental condensed matter, experimental atomic physics and experimental nuclear physics, all areas open to undergraduate involvement.

This program prepares graduates for licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) which is essential for employment in the mental health field and private practice. Students may complete the Master of Science (M.S.) in Addiction Counseling program within 2 years or also have the option of completing the program on a part-time basis. Students have the option of taking classes in the early evening and late afternoon. Graduates of the program are eligible for employment in mental health settings, working as out- and in-patient therapists, mobile therapists, substance abuse counselors, etc.
