International Marketing - Concentration
The marketing concentration provides MBA students with a broad-based education in what it means for an organization to be truly marketdriven and to create value for its customers. The hands-on skills students acquire in strategic brand management and other areas may be used in a variety of business settings.
Class projects involve students in making decisions about product development, pricing, promotion, marketing research, sales compensation, cost containment and production scheduling. Students may take courses that cover advertising, marketing management, service quality, market research, marketing strategy and international marketing.
Keeping in line with the MBA program, the marketing concentration has an experiential focus that gives students opportunities to work with real companies who have real problems and need real solutions. The curriculum supports preparation for the Professional Certified Marketer™ exam offered by the American Marketing Association. An M.S. in Marketing is also offered.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.

The University of Tampa Master of Science in Accounting program prepares students for the dynamic nature of a professional career in accounting. Offering both full and part-time schedules, the Master of Science in Accounting graduate curriculum includes courses to help students meet the educational requirements for professional certifications and related exams.
Accounting is often called the language of business. Organizations plan, assess and report the results of operations, financial condition and cash position using accounting principles to prepare financial statements that express business operations to both internal and external users of financial information.
External users assess creditability, performance, risk and investment potential, while internal users assess the efficiency of resource allocation, performance and achievement of strategic objectives in the daily management of a business. Offered by the UT Sykes College of Business’ nationally acclaimed Lowth Entrepreneurship Center, the Master of Science in Entrepreneurship builds the critical business and entrepreneurial skills needed to develop and launch new enterprises. The program also appeals to professionals who wish to incorporate innovation and vision into existing companies, or to engage in social entrepreneurship. The program emphasizes experiential learning. Nonprofit Management - Concentration
Through UT and the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay, MBA students have a unique opportunity to concentrate in nonprofit management. Additionally, non-MBA students may participate in the certificate track of nonprofit management — a great option for current social sector organization leaders in the Tampa Bay area. Graduate business faculty in partnership with leading nonprofit practitioners teach courses that aim to strengthen current nonprofit managers and train the rising generation of industry leaders. Nationwide, it is estimated that more than 600,000 new senior managers will be needed in the nonprofit sector during the next five years. The program focuses on effective board governance, strategic planning, understanding and creating budgets, marketing and fund development, conducting feasibility studies and tapping leadership potential — all topics designed to help students become better managers.

he University of Tampa's Master of Science in Finance prepares students for careers in the ever-changing financial industry.
