The English program provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary curriculum designed to prepare students for successful careers in many diverse areas of education, public relations, communications, law, and marketing.  As an English major, you will develop skills to become a critical reader, writer, and thinker through the study of diverse literary genres, writing strategies, and research skills.

Creative Writing
The creative writing emphasis focuses on the development and writing of original works and promotes opportunity for self-expression, emphasizing the relationship between writer and audience, while also exposing students to the professional world of publishing.

Religious studies is most commonly known for preparing individuals for pastoral ministry. However, pursuing a degree in religious studies also prepares graduates for a wide range of fields and provides them with a skill set that is desirable to many employers.

Individualized Studies Emphasis

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at University of Findlay prepares tomorrow’s business leaders through a comprehensive curriculum focused on personal and professional development. Financial experts help to determine cash flow, analyze ROI, and calculate future fiscal pitfalls. The finance emphasis is designed to help students develop an extensive analytical perspective. You will analyze the objectives, functions, and practices of economic areas of public and governmental finance, financial statement analysis and optimal financial decision-making. Upon completion of the finance emphasis, you will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Finance Emphasis and be prepared to pursue a variety of careers.

An emphasis in web and database prepares students for careers as Web programmers, database administrators, or software engineers.  Graduates will be able to create the back-end programming needed for today's business websites and ensure data are efficiently managed and organized to meet today's information needs.

To complete a Computer Science degree with a Web and Database Emphasis you must complete six web and database emphasis courses in addition to the computer science core courses.

Animal science/science allows you to work with animals in a research and laboratory setting. Students learn the science behind industry practice and work in careers relating to research and testing. Animal science/science may be the path for you if your interests are:

Sport Business Strategy at the University of Findlay is a highly dynamic program focused on hands-on learning.
