If you’re interested in sitting for the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) exam, you may take it as an upperclassman upon recommendation of your adviser or upon graduation.

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - Offered as part of a master's class (MBA 685), Six Sigma Green Belt Certification teaches a statistical approach to business problem solving, which can be used to solve problems like inefficiency in the manufacturing industry.

An emphasis in mathematics prepares students for careers as computer scientists, mathematical programmers or software engineers. Graduates will serve as the inventors, theorists and researchers that create and troubleshoot new computer technologies and applications. To complete a Computer Science degree with a Mathematics Emphasis you must complete six mathematics emphasis courses in addition to the computer science core courses.

An emphasis in business prepares students for careers in the corporate or small business environment. Graduates will be able to design new systems to meet the needs of the client and integrate new computer technologies as appropriate, to increase the power of existing computer systems.  This is vital to the success of any organization.

To complete a Computer Science degree with a Business Emphasis you must complete seven business emphasis courses in addition to the computer science core courses.

Animal science/industry allows you to work with animals without a heavy research base, unlike animal science/science careers or veterinary studies.  Industry students learn the science they need to be knowledgeable on the subject, but focus more on:

Findlay's graphic design major provides a curriculum focused on the development of visual communication skills through coursework in digital imaging, typography, interactive media, and commercial design. Students also gain experience in marketing and communications.

• Graphic design majors have a variety of opportunities to participate in internships with local businesses or organizations and with offices on campus. Students also participate in service learning projects in the classroom to design publications for community partners.
• Students in the graphic design major enjoy access to the Mazza Museum, the most diverse collection of original artwork by children's book illustrators in the world. • Senior graphic design majors participate in capstone coursework that includes career preparation, a senior exhibition, and professionally-oriented individualized work with local clients. Students also have opportunities to participate in juried exhibitions, including the annual University of Findlay Juried Student Art and Design Exhibition at the Lea Gallery.

Findlay's art management major offers a combination of studio and art history experiences along with coursework in business administration, accounting, economics and marketing. This major prepares you for administrative positions related to galleries, museums, art centers, and community art organizations.

• Students in the art management major enjoy access to the Mazza Museum, the most diverse collection of original artwork by children's book illustrators in the world. Students attend annual Mazza conferences, interact with nationally recognized award-winning illustrators, complete internships with the museum, and volunteer with monthly educational events.
• The Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery provides opportunities for art management students to participate in the organization, preparation, and installation of shows. The Lea Gallery presents eight to ten exhibitions throughout the year, including works by students, faculty, and regional and national artists. Students engage with exhibiting artists through gallery talks, classroom demonstrations, and public presentations.
• Art management majors have the opportunity to visit nationally-recognized museums and galleries through study trips abroad, annual art program trips to New York City and Chicago, and class trips to museums such as the Toledo Museum of Art and the Detroit Institute of Art.
