The University of Findlay's Master of Science in Health Informatics Program prepares students to take on emerging healthcare roles and to be successful in a fast-growing field. Our program is offered in two formats, which provides our students with the flexibility to fit classes into their busy schedules. The program is offered 100 percent online or in a hybrid format, which is a combination of both online and on-campus courses.

Students can complete the Master of Science in Health Informatics Program in just two years. They also have the option to complete six courses to earn the Certificate in Health Informatics, which can be applied towards the master's degree later.

The major objective of the program is to provide you with exposure to the many areas of study within the political science realm so that you are prepared to make knowledgeable decisions regarding future career and academic choices. Our program has an interdisciplinary curriculum designed to prepare students for successful careers in many diverse areas of political science including business, law, risk management, real estate and civil rights. Many students also choose to develop an individualized program by double-majoring with a complimenting area of study such as business, criminal justice and pre-law. Political science is also offered as a minor.

The English program provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary curriculum designed to prepare students for successful careers in many diverse areas of education, public relations, communications, law, and marketing.  As an English major, you will develop skills to become a critical reader, writer, and thinker through the study of diverse literary genres, writing strategies, and research skills.

General Writing
The general writing emphasis provides students the opportunity to develop critical reading, writing, and thinking skills through exposure to a variety of primary and secondary texts. Students learn to recognize that all speech acts occur in a specific rhetorical context and are trained to communicate effectively in genres appropriate to those contexts.

Corporate investment and jobs in business analytics are expected to grow as businesses need to make sense of the data they are collecting. Business analytics refers to the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for the methodical exploration and investigation of business data. This includes using predictive and prescriptive statistical tools to support decision-making and to gain insight of business performance. There is a growing need in the market for well-rounded graduates who are able to transform data into meaningful information that can be used for strategic decision-making.

The Business Analytics Emphasis provides students with the skills to collect, analyze, understand, and interpret data. It exposes students to a variety of information systems and data through a series of business analytics courses. Students will also be provided with hands-on experience of statistical tools used in the business environment using data provided by industry partners. Our curriculum is designed to support a seamless transition from student to business professional.

Students first learn the history of Christianity and interpretation of the Bible and develop their knowledge of the Old and New Testament.  They also gain hands-on experience through service learning.
