An emphasis in web and database prepares students for careers as Web programmers, database administrators, or software engineers.  Graduates will be able to create the back-end programming needed for today's business websites and ensure data are efficiently managed and organized to meet today's information needs.

To complete a Computer Science degree with a Web and Database Emphasis you must complete six web and database emphasis courses in addition to the computer science core courses.

Religious studies is most commonly known for preparing individuals for pastoral ministry. However, pursuing a degree in religious studies also prepares graduates for a wide range of fields and provides them with a skill set that is desirable to many employers.

Individualized Studies Emphasis
Choose your path.  Decide on 24 semester hours in religious studies and/or philosophy.  Some English courses and permission of the instructor are required.

The Master of Occupational Therapy Weekend Program is a three-year program that consists of two and a half years of coursework and six months of full-time fieldwork. A new cohort begins each summer in June. The weekend program is intended for the adult learner who has completed a bachelor's degree. It is preferred, but not necessary, that a candidate has healthcare experience.

With a degree in public relations from the University of Findlay you will be prepared work in corporations, PR agencies, nonprofit organizations or the government. The English program provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary curriculum designed to prepare students for successful careers in many diverse areas of education, public relations, communications, law, and marketing.  As an English major, you will develop skills to become a critical reader, writer, and thinker through the study of diverse literary genres, writing strategies, and research skills.

Literature
The literature emphasis teaches students to become scholars who can think critically and analyze written, oral, and visual texts in a variety of genres. The focus helps to develop an understanding of the relationship between writer and audience and teaches students to situate texts within relative social, cultural, and historical contexts.

An important aspect of running a company is having a clear understanding of available resources and a product’s return on investment (ROI). Financial experts help to determine cash flow, analyze ROI, and calculate future fiscal pitfalls. Strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for working with numbers are among the most important qualifications for careers in finance.

The finance emphasis is designed to help students develop an extensive analytical perspective. You will analyze the objectives, functions, and practices of economic areas of public and governmental finance, financial statement analysis and optimal financial decision-making.
