Biblical studies emphasis
Explore the Bible as a literary piece of history. Study both the New and Old Testament through analyzing the Prophet's writing and acquiring an understanding of the Wisdom literature.

You will learn how to design and implement effective HR management systems that handle employee selection, promotions, compensation, and benefits throughout the operation of any enterprise. HR management students learn additional aspects that are crucial to being effective in the human resources field such as the "stakeholder concept" which enables you to make informed decisions that are moral and ethical and relate to the corporate atmosphere.

The sport and event industry continues to grow in all aspects. Sports and entertainment are merging to create employment opportunities that require business fundamentals along with specialized knowledge. Entertainment, sporting, and event management are among the second-largest group of employers in the U.S. and the largest in the world. This area employs two out of every 10 people and accounts for more than seven percent of the world’s gross national product. Closely allied with the hospitality industries, sport business strategy has become a growing area of interest for many businesses worldwide.

Medical laboratory scientists perform laboratory tests used in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease. These tests range from simple blood tests to more complex analyses such as those needed to uncover diseases such as AIDS, diabetes or cancer. Medical laboratory scientists can also specialize in areas such as chemistry, hematology, blood banking, immunology and microbiology. They are responsible for the accuracy of test results and the reporting of results to the pathologist or other doctors.

The University of Findlay's MLS program will prepare you to enter an accredited clinical education training program. The program includes courses that are required for certification as well as the general education requirements needed for a bachelor of science degree.

Business analytics refers to the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for the methodical exploration and investigation of business data. This includes using predictive and prescriptive statistical tools to support decision-making and to gain insight of business performance. There is a growing need in the market for well-rounded graduates who are able to transform data into meaningful information that can be used for strategic decision-making.

The Business Analytics Emphasis provides students with the skills to collect, analyze, understand, and interpret data. It exposes students to a variety of information systems and data through a series of business analytics courses. Students will also be provided with hands-on experience of statistical tools used in the business environment using data provided by industry partners. Our curriculum is designed to support a seamless transition from student to business professional.

An emphasis in web and database prepares students for careers as Web programmers, database administrators, or software engineers.  Graduates will be able to create the back-end programming needed for today's business websites and ensure data are efficiently managed and organized to meet today's information needs.

To complete a Computer Science degree with a Web and Database Emphasis you must complete six web and database emphasis courses in addition to the computer science core courses.
